As I Grew Older

It was a long time ago.
I have almost forgotten my dream.
But it was there then,In front of me,
Bright like a sun--
My dream.
And then the wall rose,
Rose slowly,

The wall.
Shadow.
I am black.
I lie down in the shadow.

To Dream the Impossible Dream

I remember going to see the "Man of La Mancha" play when I was a kid, and this one always stuck with me, I decided to look up the lyrics just now - wow, pretty amazing!

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

For Some Reason....

I decided to go back through my archives and read some of my old posts. I find it very interesting the thoughts I actually posted out here on the web for the entire world to view and evaluate.

For some reason, I have the desire to do it again! I have missed my blog,a nd all my blogger friends, I'm sure I've lost most of you, but I intend to hunt you down one by one and win you all back over!
