The music stopped...

and the auctioneer said, in a voice that was quiet and low, who's got a bid on this old violin and he held it up with the bow. He said one give me one thousand who'll make it two, only two thousand, who'll make it three, three thousand twice, now that's a nice price, now who's got a bid for me. The people called out what made the change, we don't understand, and the auctioneer stopped and he said with a smile...It was the touch of the master's hand.

I love that song....I'd cite it, but I don't know who sings, guess I could stop being lazy and look it up. I did have a point though. I was driving down the road today, and looked outside, it was beautiful, the sky was so blue and the clouds so white, just gorgeous. The grass and trees were so green, and the sun was shining, you couldn't ask for a more beautiful day....and what popped into my mind, was "the touch of the master's hand"...and of course, if you know me at all, you have to know that just about everything reminds me of a song, and of course, I started singing it...out loud in the car. As I was singing it and looking out the window noticing all the beauty, I thought about how often it is that we don't look around us at what God has made, that we don't take time to appreciate his perfect gifts, that we take so many little things for granted. I had to ask for forgiveness....I did. I'm so glad God loves me.

i love that song too, now you got it stuck in my head.

So true, we don't stop and thank God. Remember when we were talking about how we should pray about everything. I know God always shows me He is listening when I include Him. So for this week, let's pray about everything, the little things, the big things, the in between things and let's see Him move His hand over and over.

I can't wait until Sunday, how bout you? I wonder what the music is going to be like. I Love going to church, I live all week just to go. I am supposed to pick up Kevin at the Ranch before we go on sunday.

Well, that's awesome the guy from Walmart called after we prayed. God is so good!!

I know mom! I can't wait till Sunday - I wanta do a dance when I think about it! I'm soooooo excited. I love you!!

msthang - it is a Christian Song - it is about an auction, where they are selling this old violin, the lat thing left, and they are getting bids for one and two dollars. Then this famous master violinist comes forward, picks it up, and plays this amazing piece on this old violin. Suddenly the value increases, and the bids are one, two and even three THOUSAND dollars. So the people cried out "what made the change, we don't understand...and the auctioneer stopped and he said with a smile...It was the touch of the Master's Hand" - see how we are like the old violin, maybe not worth a lot in some people's eyes, but when we are touched by the Master's Hand we are worth so much more....Christ changes us - we are all diamonds in the rough, and when we have the "dirt" from this life chipped away by the master jeweler our true beauty can be seen...It takes a master to reveal the real gems that we are!

Msthang, you did the right thing in posting, that gets you on my good side!!!! Lava on the other hand has to be motivated!! She is a wonderful writer, she hides her talent and wants to be selfish with it, but God didn't give it to her to keep for herself, so I have to remind her to use that gift!! lol!!!
